Research interests

Biocatalysis and Biotransformation

Biodegradation

Recent work related to some topics in Biocatalysis and Biotransformation, mainly focused on the preparation of high value-added chiral chemicals by cascade biocatalysis, such as cascade biocatalysis for regio- and stereoselective aminohydroxylation of styrenyl olefins to enantiopure β-amino alcohols. Cascade biocatalysis for asymmetric Markovnikov hydroamination of alkenes to chiral amines. Interests are also including the genome mining of interest and important industry enzymes for chiral drug intermediate synthesis.
